Moreover, it’s small changes that are the key. This is the basic idea of Tiny Habits by B.J. Fogg. Instead of relying on a deluge of willpower, your goals are better served one drop of effort at a time.
And the smallest possible drop is “not zero.”
No matter what is going on in your life, do one thing that moves you ever closer to your dream. It can be as trivial as doing a single push up or writing down an intention. But do something instead of nothing. Make yourself allergic to zero days.
Consider that the universe is ever-expanding. Every day you do nothing, your dreams become a little further out of reach. That means zero days are truly negative days.
